Erdogan: Nobody Should Equalize Government With An Illegal Organization

ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who also acts as the leader of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) said on Tuesday that nobody should equalize the government with an illegal organization.
Speaking at the parliamentary group meeting of the AK Party, Prime Minister Erdogan said the government took steps to restore social peace, and to live in tranquility despite every kind of obstacles.
Pointing out that barriers in front of Turkey`s EU target were removed for prosperity and happiness of people and that whatever necessary would be made to put them into practice, Erdogan said, ``no force or institution should give us lesson of citizenship.``
Erdogan said many steps have been taken within the scope of Copenhagen criteria, and noted that, ``going beyond the limits of respect which our nation jointly owned will cast shadow over peace on the country. Nobody has the right to cast shadow over peace.``
``The biggest harm that can be made to the country is to consider our differences as basis of policy. We should keep away from this. The steps we have taken are for a prosperous and free Turkey. All institutions and members of the country should exert efforts for this ideal,`` Erdogan said.
