Two Greeks Detained In Istanbul Airport For Illegal Mobile Phones

ISTANBUL (CIHAN) - Two Greek citizens were detained in Istanbul for smuggling illegal mobile phones into Turkey.
The Turkish airport police, on suspicion, searched the luggage of two Greek citizens in Istanbul`s Ataturk airport. Police found 1048 Nokia mobile phones in their luggage. The estimated value of the captured phones is reported to be 500 thousand US dollars.
Tzavelas Popov and Dionysios Popov, two brothers, were transferred into court following their interrogation at the airport police station.
