Agriculture And Rural Affairs Minister Guclu In T.R.N.C.

LEFKOSA - Turkish Agriculture and Rural Affairs Minister Sami Guclu arrived in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on Monday.
Speaking to reporters at Lefkosa's Ercan Airport, Guclu said that he came to TRNC upon invitation of TRNC Agriculture and Forestry Minister Rasit Pertev.
Guclu noted that what should be done in TRNC agriculture sector would be discussed during his two-day visit.
Pertev said that Turkey and TRNC would also make cooperation in agriculture sector and noted that Turkey recorded important progress on agriculture field especially in regard to adjustment process to the European Union (EU) and its reforms on agriculture. Pertev added that they would also benefit from those studies.
Guclu attended dinner hosted by Pertev the same day.
Guclu will be received by TRNC President Rauf Denktas and Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Talat on Tuesday.
