Tusiad: Support Of E.U. Business World To Turkey's E.U. Membership Is Continuing

ISTANBUL (CIHAN) - The Chairman of the Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (TUSIAD), Omer Sabanci stated on Monday that the strong and determined support of the European business world for Turkey continues.
Sabanci attended the meeting of the Union of Industrial Employers' Confederations of Europe (UNICE) held on June 11 in Dublin, Ireland and made a statement evaluating the summit.
Sabanci stated that, "A message for support for Turkey's EU membership was given by the leaders of the European business world. Supporters said that Turkey must begin the accession talks with the EU as soon as possible now that it has fulfilled the Copenhagen criteria. This will provide a stable economic environment for the EU and Turkish companies."
"The importance of the steps taken by the TUSIAD delegation in the Europe business world and by Turkey on its path to EU membership were was noted at the Summit. Representatives of the European private sector discussed the reform process in Turkey with praise." Sabancý said in his statement.
