Opposition CHP To Convene Extraordinary General Assembly On July 3

ISTANBUL (CIHAN) - The opposition Republic Turkey Party (CHP) has decided on Monday to convene extraordinary general assembly of party.
The CHP leader Deniz Baykal, bowing to the internal opposition, decided to take party to extraordinary general assembly on July 3, 2004.
Speaking at the CHP`s Istanbul office, CHP leader Baykal told reporters that he decided to convene general assembly of party on July 3, 2004.. CHP leader will seek vote of confidence in party general assembly and will quell the internal opposition if he is reelected
