Erdogan: Turkey Does Not Want Peace And Friendship To Be Under Threat In The Middle East

ISTANBUL - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said late on Sunday that Turkey did not want peace and friendship to be under threat in the Middle East.
Prime Minister Erdogan replied to questions of journalists on his way back from the United States to Turkey.
Replying to a question about Turkey's relations with Israel, Erdogan said they always stressed friendly relations with Israel.
Erdogan said there were some wrong steps in country administration and that they always stressed this.
''We continue military, political, economic and trade relations with Israel. However, continuing relations with Israel will not mean interrupting relations with Palestine. Nobody apart from us can determine our relations with a country. We will determine relations under the basis of 'win-win'. We don't want friendship and peace to be under threat in the Middle East. We are in an effort to contribute to peace and friendship. Israeli administration should understand and appreciate this.''
