SIRNAK (CIHAN) - Seven Turkish citizens captured by the Iraqi resistance last week were released in the city of Falluja, Iraq and entered Turkey from through the Turkish Habur Border Gate.
The seven Turkish citizens were working for a Turkish construction firm in Iraq and had been kidnapped in Falluja last Thursday. They received medical checkups at Silopi State Hospital.
The General Manager of the Turkish Serka Construction Project Company, Tarkan Arýkoglu said that, "We were taken for one week. Iraqi resistances treated us exceptionally well except for the first day. They said that they had kidnapped us because were helping American soldiers. They do not want us to help the US."
Six of the kidnap victims are from Adana and one is from Mersin. Five of them work for the Serka Company in Iraq.
