SHIRAZ (CIHAN) - Ten Iranian people died of drinking illicitly produced alcohol in Iranian city of Shiraz.
30 other people were taken to hospital, poisoned from illicitly produced and low quality alcohol, the Iranian Keyhan paper said. Four people, drank the same alcohol, were blinded while the health conditions of 4 other reported to be critical.
The production and drinking of alcohol were forbidden in Iran, zealously Islamic country. The investigation into incident was launched. Some people were detained in connection with the incident.
