Building Of 41 New Factories Inaugurated In Scope Of Investment Incentive Law In Sivas

SIVAS (CIHAN) - A project for the building of 41 new factories has been inaugurated on Saturday in the eastern Turkish city of Sivas in the scope of the Investment Incentive Law. Today`s inauguration was attended by Turkish Deputy Prime Minister, Abdüllatif Sener.
The Investment Incentive Law No. 5084 will accelerate investments in Sivas. The law covers cities where people have an average annual income of less than 1,500 dollars and will provide for energy reduction, land free of charge, insurance premium reductions and income tax reductions to investors.
Attending the opening ceremony of the 41 factories in the Sivas Organized Industrial Zone (SOSB) Sener said, "We have reached economic stability through political stability. The Incentive Law encourages unemployed people to come to cities for work."
Stating that the Turkish Government was seeking a solution to the unemployment problem, Sener said, "A total of 10,000 Euros in bank loans will be given to anyone wishing to establish a new business with a viable project. If this business project is carried out with a foreign partner, the credit will be unlimited."
Meanwhile, a total of 5,500 people will be employed when the 41 factories go into operation in Sivas.
