Lebanese-flagged Ship Runs Aground On Istanbul Strait

ISTANBUL - A Lebanese-flagged cargo ship ran aground while passing through Istanbul Strait, sources said on Friday.
Sources said that a Lebanese-flagged cargo ship named M/V Amina ran aground off Yenikoy.
While one tug-boat and a coast guard boat were sent to the scene to help rescue the Lebanese-flagged cargo ship, the ship was dragged by the current.
The cargo ship anchored off Pasabahce.
The Lebanese-flagged ship was 2,675 gross tons in weight and 74 meters in length. It was loaded with lumber.
