ISTANBUL (CÝHAN) - Efes Pilsen defended their title Turkish Basketball League title 2003-2004 seasons by winning best of seven series 4-2.
Champions Efes Pilsen trounced runner-up Ulkerpsor 71-59 in the fifth game of the series and grabbed title its third consecutive title. Efes Pilsen had started the series with a 1-0 advantage because they had won both of the regular-season match-ups between the teams. It was 11th title for Efes Pilsen in the Turkish Basketball League.
Antoni Granger had an outstanding performance inspiring his team to victory over 3-time champions Ulkerspor 71-59. Granger collected 26 points. Guard Kerem Tunceri added 15 points. For Ülkerspor, Melvin Booker scored 23 points.
Youth and Sport General Director Mehmet Atalay presented the championship cup to Efes Pilsen.
Efes Pilsen won last year's best-of-seven final 4-3 over Ülkerspor.
