ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank dropped by 371 million U.S. dollars between May 28 and June 4, 2004.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 33 billion 58 million U.S. dollars on May 28 fell to 32 billion 687 million U.S. dollars on June 4.
Total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations fell 1 billion 40 million U.S. dollars from 12 billion 501 million U.S. dollars to 11 billion 461 million U.S. dollars between May 14 and 21.
The international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations dropped 1 billion 315 million U.S. dollars from 47 billion 133 million U.S. dollars to 45 billion 818 million U.S. dollars between May 14 and 21.
