ANKARA - Turkish Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan received on Wednesday International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation headed by European Department I Director Michael Deppler.
The delegation included IMF Executive Director Willy Kiekens, Turkey Desk Chief Reza Moghadam and IMF Representative to Turkey Odd Per Brekk.
Finance Ministry bureaucrats were also in attendance at the meeting.
Unakitan and IMF delegation are expected to discuss tax reform package, and re-structuring of tax administration.
IMF delegation came to Turkey on June 3. The delegation met with business and finance circles and representatives of non-governmental organizations in Istanbul till June 7.
Deppler and Kiekens came to Ankara on June 7 to join talks.
IMF delegation met with Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen on Tuesday.
New agreement with the IMF that is expected to discussed will be selected among three options such as ''post-program monitoring, precautionary stand-by or normal stand-by deal''.
Under new agreement, nearly 660 million U.S. dollars of loan tranches will be approved instead of 500 million U.S. dollars of loan tranches.
