MERSIN/MENEMEN - Police arrested five people who were in connection with vehicle torching incidents in southern province of Mersin and western province of Izmir, sources said on Tuesday.
Three people in Mersin who torched four vehicles were arrested in charge of staging acts for terrorist organization.
On the other hand, two people who torched a vehicle were arrested in Menemen town of Izmir.
Several vehicles have been set ablaze across Turkey --especially in Istanbul-- since December 8th, 2007.
