129,792 Illegal Migrants Arrested In Edirne In Past Decade

EDIRNE - Turkish security forces arrested 129,792 illegal migrants in north-western province of Edirne in the past decade.
Just as many illegal migrants are believed to have crossed into Europe in the same time period.
In the past ten years, citizens from close to 80 countries tried to cross the border at Edirne.
Transportation, deportation, lodging and health expenses of the illegal migrants have cost over 1.5 million new Turkish lira.
