New Minimum Wages Go Into Effect

ANKARA - New minimum wages have gone into effect on Tuesday.
The minimum wage for individuals older than 16 years will be 435.92 new Turkish lira (net) in the first half of 2008 while minimum wage for individuals younger than 16 years will be 369.29 new Turkish lira (net).
Minimum wages will go up by 5 percent on July 1st.
