Turkish F.M.: A Careful Work Continues For Release Of Turkish Citizens Kidnapped In Iraq

ANKARA - Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul said on Wednesday that Turkey was following the abduction of Turkish citizens in Iraq with sorrow, adding, ''this attitude which aims at Turkish citizens is very wrong.''
Gul replied questions of reporters at joint news conference he held with Albanian Foreign Minister Kastriot Islami.
Upon a question, Gul said, ''a careful work continues for release of kidnapped Turkish citizens'' and added that safety of people's life has a great priority. Gul said, ''I am sure that Iraqi people are also very uneasy about the incidents happened to Turkish citizens.''
Two administrators of Serka Construction Company Adnan Azizoglu and Tarkan Arikoglu, and their Turkmen driver Fethi Kiyas were kidnapped on their way from Fallujah to Mosul on Tuesday morning. Later they were all released.
Bulent Yanik, a truck driver, and an Egyptian driver, who were carrying supplies to Iraq, had been kidnapped last week.
