KABUL - Turkish Public Works and Settlement Minister Zeki Ergezen who arrived in Kabul on Wednesday morning was received by Afghan Vice President Hedayat Amin Arsala, sources said.
Arsala and Ergezen discussed friendly ties and further improvement of trade volume between the two countries in the meeting.
Ergezen conveyed Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's message over Turkish engineer Salih Aksoy, who had been abducted in Afghanistan, to Vice President Arsala.
Arsala said that they were carrying out a very sensitive work on this issue and noted that they were doing their best to conclude it. Stating that they earlier received the message of Turkish government, Arsala said that they continued to extend efforts on this issue.
Later, Ergezen met with Turkish businessmen working in Afghanistan.
