ANKARA - Turkish Council of State Administrative Court suspended the sale of a majority stake in petrochemicals company Petkim, which was auctioned off earlier in 2007, it was reported.
Trade union Petrol-Is had challenged the government's decision to sell a controlling 51 percent stake in Petkim to a consortium of Turcas and Azerbaijani state oil firm Socar.
