GENEVA - Turkish Labor and Social Security Minister Murat Basesgioglu met with Italian Minister of Labor and Welfare Roberto Maroni on Monday.
Basesgioglu is currently in Geneva to attend the 92nd Working Conference of the International Labor Organization (ILO).
The two ministers expressed determination of Turkey and Italy for signing of Social Security Agreement which had been decided earlier.
Basesgioglu told A.A correspondent after the meeting that he thanked for the support Italy expended to Turkey's full membership process to the EU and wanted this support to continue.
Italian Minister Maroni said Turkey took very important steps in EU full membership process and that they appreciated those steps. He said Italy's support would continue.
Basesgioglu is scheduled to meet with ILO Director General Juan Somavia on Tuesday morning.
