ANKARA - Turkish security forces killed five terrorists, including 2 women, in an operation on Mount Kupeli in the southeastern province of Sirnak, Turkish General Staff said in a statement on its website on Tuesday.
The terrorists were pinned down as they were in preparation for an attack and they were taken out by Turkish troops supported by gunships.
The statement also said Turkish security forces raided a hideout used by the terrorist group and seized six automatic rifles, three explosive devices, a radio, cell phones and ammunition.
