Process To Re-start On Wednesday For Election Of New Chairperson Of Supreme Court

ANKARA - No conclusion was reached in the fifth and last voting of the first round of the election process of a new chairperson to the Supreme Court on Tuesday.
In the last voting, Hasan Gerceker received 98 votes while Mustafa Aydin received 93 votes. None of the candidates received 126 votes necessary to become the Supreme Court's new chairperson.
Election process will re-start on Wednesday for new chairperson of the Supreme Court.
