ANKARA - "Turkey's right to defend itself against terrorism is unquestionable. Current operation (cross-border operation on the north of Iraq) is launched in line with this right," said Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan who spoke at Justice & Development (AK) Party group meeting on Tuesday.
Erdogan noted that the sole target of cross-border operations is PKK terrorist organization.
He said nobody can expect Turkey to remain silent towards terrorist attacks which claim many innocent lives.
Meanwhile, Erdogan celebrated Christmas of Christian citizens as well as Hanukkah festival of Jewish citizens.
