EDIRNE/KUSADASI - Turkish gendarmery forces arrested 82 illegal migrants in northwestern province of Edirne and in Kusadasi town of Aegean province of Aydin.
Gendarmery forces detained 62 illegal migrants from Pakistan, Iraq, Palestine, Mynmar, Georgia, China and Mauritania in Ipsala, Enez, and Kesan towns of Edirne.
In the operation in Kusadasi, gendarmery forces detained 20 illegal migrants from Somali, Palestine and Mauritania.
A Turkish citizen was arrested in connection with the incident.
The illegal migrants will be deported once legal proceedings are completed.
