GENEVA - Turkish Labor and Social Security Minister Murat Basesgioglu attended on Monday 92nd Conference of the International Labor Organization (ILO) in Geneva, Switzerland.
Ministers of 177 countries are participating in the International Labor Conference.
Basesgioglu attended a luncheon hosted in honor of heads of participating delegations by ILO Director General Juan Somavia after the opening session.
A report on social dimension of globalization prepared by a commission headed by presidents of Tanzania and Finland was read in the opening session.
Turkish Labor and Social Security Minister Basesgioglu will deliver a speech in the afternoon session of the conference.
Basesgioglu is expected to meet with Italian Minister of Labor and Welfare Roberto Maroni in the evening.
