ANKARA - 44 people died while 127 others got injured in traffic accidents in the four days of the Eid al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice).
A total of 39 fatal traffic accidents took place in Turkey between December 19th and 23rd.
During last year`s Feast of Sacrifice, 54 deadly traffic accidents had taken place during the in which 61 people died.
Sources said the number of traffic accident deaths dropped by 27.9 percent in 2007 compared to last year during the Feast of Sacrifice.
