Rate Of Capacity Utilization Rises To 78.5 Percent

ANKARA - The State Institute of Statistics (SIS) said on Monday that the rate of capacity utilization that is weighted by production value, increased from 75 percent to 78.5 percent in the first quarter of 2004, from the primarily provisional result of 786 large scale manufacturing industrial establishments.
SIS announced the result of the monthly tendency survey which reflects view of the establishments in manufacturing industry about production, sales, stocks and prices for the realization in the first quarter of 2004.
