Erdogan On Turkish Armed Forces's Cross-border Operation

ISTANBUL - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Sunday Turkey did not behave heroically but used its rights stemming from international laws.
"There is nothing further to say in addition to the statements delivered by TSK. We are determined and such determination will continue in a planned way," Erdogan said in reply to questions on the latest cross-border operation waged by Turkish Armed Forces (TSK).
"We cannot make any concessions regarding this matter, because the fight against terrorism is a prior issue for us at the moment," he added.
Erdogan also commented on the recent remarks of Massoud Barzani, leader of the regional administration in the north of Iraq, concerning the cross-border operation.
"Iraq's central administration is our interlocutor and our previous talks with USA, head of the coalition forces, are clear. We are using our country's rights stemming from international laws, we are not acting heroically," Erdogan said.
