GENEVA - Turkish Labor and Social Security Minister Murat Basesgioglu arrived in Geneva, Switzerland on Sunday to attend the 92nd International Conference of the International Labor Organization (ILO).
Labor ministers of 177 ILO member countries, and representatives of labor and employer organizations are attending the International Labor Conference which started on June 1.
Basesgioglu will attend Monday's session of the conference and deliver a speech in the afternoon session.
Turkish Labor and Social Security Minister Basesgioglu is expected to inform participants about recent developments in working life in Turkey and steps taken for social peace.
Basesgioglu, who is expected to stay in Geneva till June 12, will have bilateral meetings with his counterparts.
Turkish Labor and Social Security Minister Basesgioglu will attend luncheon to be hosted by ILO Director General Juan Somavia in honor of heads of participating delegations on Monday and later have a meeting with Italian Minister of Labor and Welfare Roberto Maroni.
