ANKARA - Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan released Saturday a message to mark the Christmas.
"I celebrate the Christmas of all our Christian citizens," he told.
Erdogan said Eid al-Adha and Hanukkah of the Jews are being celebrated in the same days.
"I wish all these (feasts) will strengthen our unity and solidarity," he told.
Erdogan said, "I see this special day celebrated as the birthday of Jesus Christ by the Christian world will bring forth affection, respect, understanding, solidarity and tolerance. I also wish it will be an important opportunity for our efforts to build a world in which we can live altogether in peace."
