Labor Party Protests United States

ANKARA - Labor Party (IP) has held a demonstration to protest the scheduled visit of U.S. President George W. Bush to Turkey.
Nearly 60 members of IP gathered in Ankara's Kizilay Square on Saturday. They chanted slogans against the United States and U.S. President Bush.
Later, they made a press release claiming, ''President Bush will visit Turkey with the aim of putting into practice his dark thoughts about the Middle East. He should be considered a war criminal. President Bush's visit to Turkey aims to take both Turkey and the Middle East under the U.S. sovereignty. He plans to replace U.S. soldiers in Iraq with Turkish soldiers. His plan is unacceptable.''
