Turkish F.M.: Egyptian Government Confirms Ownership Of Weapons Seized In Ambarli Customs

ANKARA - Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul said on Friday that Egyptian government has confirmed ownership of the weapons seized in Ambarli customs in Istanbul.
Gul replied questions of reporters while leaving Foreign Ministry.
Upon questions about the weapons which were found in containers aboard the ship destined for Egypt, Gul said that initiatives were launched regarding the issue.
Radio-controlled missiles were discovered in containers aboard a ship which was headed in transit from Ukraine to Egypt and docked at the ports of Ambarli, Istanbul for refuel yesterday.
