Turkish Police Seize 28 Kg Heroin In Izmit

IZMIT - Turkish police seized 28 kilograms of heroin in Izmit province of the Marmara Region, sources said on Thursday.
Sources told A.A correspondent that police, acting on a tip off and disguised as buyers, confiscated 28 kilograms of heroin and captured three people red-handed.
One of the detainees had been sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment on charges of drug trafficking.
