ANKARA - United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Director General Carlos Magarinos will pay a visit to Turkey between June 4 and 8, Foreign Ministry said on Thursday.
Releasing a statement, the ministry said that Magarinos would visit Turkey for the second Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs) ministers' conference in Istanbul and noted that Magarinos would chair a working group meeting entitled, ''Enhancing the Role of SMEs for Development'' on June 5.
The statement said that Magarinos was expected to proceed to Ankara on June 6 to hold bilateral meetings with some ministers and representatives of business world.
It noted that Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Guler and Industry and Trade Minister Ali Coskun would receive Magarinos.
UNIDO Director General Magarinos will depart from Turkey on June 8.
