Delebarre Pays A Visit To Topbas

ISTANBUL - EU Committee of Regions President Michel Delebarre said Sunday a bureau to be opened by the Istanbul Municipality in Brussels in March indicates that local administrations in Turkey especially Istanbul were eager to boost relations with the EU.
Delebarre paid a courtesy visit to Istanbul Mayor Kadir Topbas.
After the meeting, Topbas told reporters Delebarre and he developed common projects.
"I believe that he will support Turkey`s accession process. I know that he also attaches great importance to local diplomacy," Topbas said.
