ANKARA - Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen said Sunday "high quality & high price" is the parole to reach Turkey`s export target of 500 billion U.S. dollars set for 2023.
Tuzmen told the A.A correspondent, "we have made calculations, developed new projects and implemented effective tactics by considering the developments in the world to reach the export target of Turkey."
"Turkey has left the low price policy in exports. Our basic parole is `high quality & high price` to attain the export target set for 2023. Turkey`s exports exceeded 100 billion U.S. dollars despite some difficulties," Tuzmen said.
The amount of exports must be at least 10 billion U.S. dollars from each sector to attain the export target of Turkey, he stated.
"The success of Turkish contracts working abroad also boosted exports. The contracting sector undertook projects of 20 billion U.S. dollars in several countries this year," Tuzmen added.
