Defense Industry Steering Board Decisions...

ANKARA - Turkish National Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul said on Wednesday that, "assessment works of Defense Industry Undersecretariat on Reconnaissance, Observation and Satellite Project have been reviewed."
Announcing the decisions made at Defense Industry Steering Board meeting , Gonul said, "a decision has been made to continue talks with Telespazio company of Italy, OHB of Germany and Eads Astrium of Britain. We have decided to submit the results at the next steering board meeting."
Chief of General Staff Gen. Yasar Buyukanit, National Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul, Defense Industry Undersecretary Murad Bayar, several other military executives and Defense Industry executives attended the meeting chaired by PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
