Defense Industry Steering Board Convenes In Ankara

ANKARA - The Defense Industry Steering Board of Turkey met in capital Ankara on Wednesday.
PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan is chairing the meeting at the Undersecteratiat of Defense Industry.
Chief of General Staff Gen. Yasar Buyukanit, National Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul, Defense Industry Under- secretary Murad Bayar, and other military and defense industry executives participated in the meeting.
The board is expected to review the needs of Turkish Armed Forces including helicopters, heavy-lift helicopters, and anti-tank systems.
