Minister Celik On Social Security Reform

ANKARA - Labour and Social Security Minister Faruk Celik held a press conference on the bill amending the Social and General Health Insurance Law (social security reforms), and briefed reporters on the future of the reforms.
Celik said they were working very hard to conclude the bill and said "I think this bill will be adopted in December."
Celik also said they were planning to bring the draft on work safety and workers' health to the parliament within the first quarter of 2008.
The bill on the Social and General Health Insurance Law was scheduled to go into force on January 1st, 2008.
