Prime Minister Erdogan Congratulates German President Koehler By Phone

ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan called German President Horst Koehler to congratulate him on his new post, Prime Ministry Press Center said in a statement on Tuesday.
Koehler who earlier acted as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director had appreciated Turkey's economy program.
German President Johannes Rau will hand over the presidency to Koehler on July 1. Koehler will be the 9th President of Germany.
