Number Of Tourists Visiting Antalya Rises

ANTALYA - The number of tourists visiting southern province of Antalya has risen since the beginning of 2004 when compared to the same period last year.
Culture and Tourism Provincial Directorate told the A.A correspondent on Monday that 1 million 580 thousand 229 tourists came to Antalya by plane since the beginning of the year.
A total of 37 thousand 774 tourists came to Antalya by plane on Sunday to spend their holiday, while 671 thousand 224 tourists visited Antalya between May 1 and 30, 2004.
The number of tourists visiting Antalya climbed by 78 percent between May 1 and 30, 2004 when compared to the same period last year, and the number of tourists visiting Antalya rose by 69 percent between January 1 and May 30 when compared to the same period last year.
