COURT ARRESTS 1 OF 4 SUSPECTS

ISTANBUL - The Istanbul State Security Court (DGM) late on Sunday decided to release three of the four suspected people of a blast in carpark of a McDonald's restaurant in Kadikoy district of Istanbul, but sent the other suspect to prison.
Following the procedures at the Istanbul Police Anti-Terrorism Department, four suspects were transferred to the DGM and they were questioned by the prosecutor on duty late on Sunday.
The prosecutor decided to release three suspects, but send the other to court.
The suspect named Hiyyam Coban Y. testified to the court on duty and the judge ruled to send him to prison.
No one was hurt or killed in the incident on May 21, but there was serious damage to two vehicles outside McDonald's restaurant on Acibadem Street in Kadikoy.
Under investigation into car bombing, police had detained eight suspected people belonging to far-left organizations. Four of them had been released after questioning.
The suspects had taken police to an undisclosed area in Istanbul containing weapons-making material, including three mobile telephones that could be used to detonate devices.
