NEW YORK - Turkish Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan said on Saturday that foreign investors appreciated and evaluated positively the policies which Turkish government follows in Cyprus.
Unakitan added that those investors considered Turkey as a country in which investments could be made.
Unakitan, who held meetings with investor and finance circles in New York on Thursday and Friday, replied questions of Turkish reporters.
Unakitan said that investor groups in Washington told him that economic and political changes in Turkey have attracted them and they especially were attracted by Turkey's attitude in Cyprus issue.
Unakitan is expected to return to Turkey today.
