TRABZON - Turkey, world`s top hazelnut producer and exporter, received a revenue of 686 million USD during the first three months of export season for 2007 and 2008.
Turkey exported over 90 thousand tons of hazelnut between September-November to 90 different countries. Exports figure for the same period last year was 462 million USD.
Turkey cultivates over 70 percent of world hazelnut production with near 625 thousand tons.
