Turkey To Attend Sofia International Book Fair

ANKARA - Turkey will participate in Sofia International Book Fair which will be held between December 5th and 9th in Bulgaria, Turkish Culture & Tourism Ministry stated on Tuesday.
More than 2,000 books from Turkish publishing houses will be displayed in the fair.
Translation & Publication Subvention Project (TEDA) of Turkey will also be introduced in the fair.
TEDA which is essentially a translation and publication subvention project was vitalized in 2005 for the wider dissemination of Turkish culture through the translation, publication or promotion of Turkish cultural, artistic and literary work outside of Turkey.
Within the framework of TEDA aiming to share Turkish cultural, artistic and literary spirit with the readers outside of Turkey in their languages; Culture & Tourism Ministry provides subventions to international institutions, enterprises, companies, foundations and publishing firms which will publish such books.
