ERZURUM - Turkey`s East Anatolia Region experienced the coldest day of this season on Monday.
Executives of the regional meteorology department calculated the lowest temperature in eastern province of Agri around minus 22 degrees Celsius on Monday night.
The temperature was minus 19 degrees Celsius in Kars and Ardahan, minus 17 degrees Celsius in Erzurum, minus 6 degrees in Igdir and minus 3 degrees in Erzincan.
Executives of the meteorology department does not forecast snowfall on Tuesday and Wednesday.
"There will not be any significant change in temperatures in our region," they added.
