BURSA - Export figures of Turkish automotive sector rose by 35.5 percent to 18.2 billion USD in the first eleven months of 2007, when compared to the same period of last year, the Uludag Exporters` Association (UIB) said on Monday.
According to UIB figures, passenger cars outsold other export items, such as trucks, vans and automotive spare parts industry. Automotive manufacturers earned 6.2 billion USD from passenger car exports.
Automotive manufacturers shipped their output mostly to European countries.
