ANKARA - Banks' credit volume rose 1 quadrillion 822.6 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 71 quadrillion 310.4 trillion TL between May 7 and 14 2004.
The total credit volume at banks was 69 quadrillion 487.8 trillion TL on May 7.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 901 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 792.5 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 156.8 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 63 quadrillion 87.1 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 5 quadrillion 70.5 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
