ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank dropped by 274 million U.S. dollars between May 14-21, 2004.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 33 billion 51 million U.S. dollars on May 14 reduced to 32 billion 777 million U.S. dollars on May 21.
Total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations fell 851 million U.S. dollars from 12 billion 900 million U.S. dollars to 12 billion 49 million U.S. dollars between 30 and May 7.
The international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations dropped 1 billion 17 million U.S. dollars from 48 billion 197 million U.S. dollars to 47 billion 180 million U.S. dollars between April 30 and May 7.
