ISLAMABAD - Turkish President Abdullah Gul, currently in Pakistan on a 2-day formal visit, attended a reception hosted in Turkish Embassy in Islamabad on Sunday.
Gul`s formal schedule in Pakistan will start on Monday.
A formal welcoming ceremony will be held for Gul in Presidential Palace. Following the ceremony, Gul and Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf will hold a tete-a-tete meeting and later talks between the delegations of the two countries will start.
Gul and Musharraf will give a joint press conference after the talks.
Gul will later attend a lunch to be hosted by Pakistani Prime Minister Mohammad Miyan Soomro in his honor and is expected to meet Benazir Bhutto and Navaz Sharif, former prime ministers of Pakistan.
Gul will depart from Pakistan following a dinner that will be hosted by Musharraf in his honor.
